Privacy Policy

Syntelligence ("the app") is a Shopify application operated by Synergy Technologies Inc ("we", "us"). This policy describes what data the app collects when a merchant installs it, how that data is used, and how it is deleted.

What we collect

When you install Syntelligence on your Shopify store, the app accesses the following through Shopify's Admin API, with your authorization:

• Orders — order totals, dates, financial status, currency, and line items (product, quantity, amount).
• Customers — name, email address, order count, total spend, and last order date.
• Products — titles, prices, status, and inventory levels.

The app does not access payment card data, customer passwords, or customer addresses and phone numbers.

How we use it

• To compute and display analytics to you, the merchant: revenue trends, order metrics, top products, customer segments, and anomaly alerts.
• To generate AI briefings you request. When you use the AI features, an aggregated snapshot of your store's metrics is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic's use of API data is governed by its own commercial terms; API inputs are not used to train Anthropic's models.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, use it for marketing to your customers, or use it to train machine-learning models.

Competitor tracking

If you choose to track competitor products or stores, the app fetches only publicly available web pages and public product feeds from the URLs you provide. Each fetch respects the target site's robots.txt; disallowed pages are skipped. No non-public data is accessed.

Where data lives

Synced store data is stored in the app's own database, keyed to your store, and is accessible only through your store's authenticated Shopify admin session. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Deletion

• Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all cached data for your store: orders, customers, products, insights, alerts, and competitor tracking configuration.
• Shopify GDPR webhooks are honored: customer redaction requests delete that customer's cached record and unlink their orders; shop redaction requests delete all data for the store.
• Customer data requests: the app stores only data mirrored from Shopify itself, so data-subject requests can be fulfilled from Shopify's own records; we acknowledge and support these requests per Shopify's mandatory webhook flow.
